Transformed

Life does not hand me perfection. Instead she keeps it from me like a greedy sister refusing to give it up...or so I thought.

Until I realized I was making demands she could not fulfill. She would not give me perfection because it is not hers to give.

And when I stopped knocking on her door, new life came knocking on mine.

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will." -Romans 12:2
