Tightly Knit

He lends a listening ear while I tell him all my secrets. Our bond is very strong, as we are tightly knit and even more tightly bound. He has placed his seal upon my heart even though I have not given him much more than a scarlet letter in return. Still, ours is an intimacy that cannot be shaken.
