A Giver

I am a giver, but I don't give my time and energy and resources just for the sake of burying myself in busyness. Instead, I give because I want to be faithful to the people and things God has entrusted to my care. So I pour out my life in an effort to lay a Godly foundation for those who surround me, whether it be my children or those God has given to me to minister to. In 1 Timothy 6:20 Paul writes, "Guard what has been entrusted to your care." If those who have given to me and my life had not guarded what was entrusted to them, then I would not be where I am at today. For this reason, I feel even more compelled to do the same for others.
